 Structure
 
1. The General Assembly

The General Assembly is composed of all Full Members of ECTAA. It meets at least once a year. Among others, it is competent to decide on new Members’ applications, to approve the association’s budget and to control the accounts.

2. The Board of Directors

The Board of Directors on which every full member has a seat, is empowered with the general management of the Association. It meets at least once a year. The Board electsa President, four Vice-Presidents and a Treasurer from within its Members . Each of the elected must be from different full member national delegation that is established in a member state of the European Union.

3. The President

The President is elected by the Board of Directors from within its Members for a mandate of two years. The Presidency of a Full Member is determined in accordance with the French alphabetical order of the Member States of the European Union.

4. The Committees

ECTAA has also decided to create various committees, which are composed of representatives of national delegations of Full Members, who have a specific expertise in the issues that are dealt with by the committee concerned.
Those committees are the following:

  • The Air Matters Committee
  • The Legal Committee
  • The Fiscal Committee
  • The Technology Committee
  • The Committee on Incoming Tourism
  • The Tour Operators Committee
  • The Destination & Sustainability Committee

Furthermore, the President, the Vice-Presidents and the Treasurer get together in the Strategic Committee to prepare the meeting of the Board of Directors.

5. The Business Meeting

At least once a year, ECTAA organizes a Business Meeting. It mainly aims at allowing Full and Affiliated Members to discuss the latest developments at European level as well as to exchange their point of views and their experience at national level.
